Fandango suffers injury

8:50 p.m. update
On Raw, Paul Heyman announced it will now be Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett vs. The Miz vs. Curtis Axel in an Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match.

8:42 p.m. update
Because of Fandango’s injury, it will now be Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett vs. The Miz this Sunday at WWE Payback.

7:40 p.m. update
Although Fandango still has tests to take, WWE management decided that in the interest of safety, he will not compete this Sunday at WWE Payback. There is no official word on who might replace him in the Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match. Stay with tonight’s Raw and WWE.com for further updates.

4:00 p.m. update
WWE.com sources have reported that Fandango suffered a concussion during the SmackDown taping on Tuesday night and was pulled from WWE Live Events throughout the week.

Fandango passed his impact test, but has yet to pass further testing needed for clearance.

There is speculation backstage at the Richmond Coliseum  the site of tonight’s Raw  as to how this will affect the scheduled Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match at WWE Payback this Sunday pitting the dancing Superstar and The Miz against reigning titleholder Wade Barrett.
