Waller and Theory goaded the champion into agreeing to a Triple Threat Match on the Jan. 28 episode of NXT during "The Grayson Waller Effect."

After winning the title in a Triple Threat Match at New Year’s Evil against then-champion Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe, Femi has cemented himself as The Ruler of NXT with a follow-up win against Thorpe on Jan. 20.
