The NXT North American Champion withstood Dijak’s early attacks and struck back with some electric offense of his own. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #VengeanceDay

Dijak promised that Hard Justice was coming, but Wes Lee proved himself to be a worthy champion.

The bruising challenger was more than formidable, using his clubbing strikes and his size advantage to ground the high-flying Lee and keep the raucous crowd from backing the champ. Lee’s fortitude shined bright when he absorbed every brutal blow and dished out some incredible offense, highlighted by a twisting splash off the top rope.

Dijak may have had Lee dead to rights on the outside, but Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo appeared and bared the brunt of Dijak’s jaw-dropping moonsault instead. When the two competitors finally got back into the ring, Lee pulled off one last counter, hit his signature backflip kick and retained his title.

Kiana James & Fallon Henley def. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance to become the NXT Women's Tag Team Champions

As the action heated up inside the ring, Kayden Carter threw caution to the wind by hitting a devastating cutter on Kiana James on the outside of the ring in an effort to retain the NXT Women’s Tag Titles. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #VengeanceDay

The challengers walked into Vengeance Day as major underdogs, but the newly minted pair of Kiana James & Fallon Henley rose to the occasion and dethroned one of the best tag teams NXT has ever seen.

Henley & James initially struggled to get on the same page as Kayden Carter & Katana Chance implemented their unique tag team offense. James took a hard spill to the outside, leaving Henley to battle the champions by herself. Chance & Carter hit her with an avalanche hurricanrana, but Henley kicked out.

James sprung back into action, knocking Chance off the apron as Carter and Henley faced off inside the ring. Henley applied a rollup to Carter, but unbeknownst to her, James grabbed Carter’s legs and held them to the mat. The sneaky move allowed them to become the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Carmelo Hayes def. Apollo Crews – 2-out-of-3 Falls Match

Trick Williams’s attempt at interfering in the Apollo Crews vs. Carmelo Hayes 2 out of 3 Falls Match was met with resistance from the returning Dabba-Kato. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #VengeanceDay

The highly anticipated matchup between two of NXT’s brightest Superstars did not disappoint as Apollo Crews and Carmelo Hayes put on an athletic and aerial show.

The veteran Crews took control early, using his combination of power and speed to gain the upper hand, but finding the first fall was difficult for both men. Both competitors were savvy in their approach as Crews targeted Hayes’ ribs while Hayes attacked the neck of Crews, leaving both Superstars worse for wear.

Hayes finally grounded Crews long enough to lock in a crossface which forced Crews to tap out, giving himself the 1-0 advantage. Crews rallied and got some momentum back, but Hayes continued to go after his neck and nearly ended the match after a Fadeaway Leg Drop.

Crews looked poised to earn a decision, but Trick Williams tried to stop him, only to be thwarted by the massive Dabba-Kato. The distraction allowed Hayes enough time to recover, plant Crews with a springboard clothesline and hit Nothing But Net to sweep the match, 2-0.

After the match, Dabba-Kato shockingly attacked Crews, leaving him laid out in the ring.

Gallus def. The New Day, Chase U, and Pretty Deadly to capture the NXT Tag Team Championships

Andre Chase executes an earth-shattering superplex to Pretty Deadly’s Kit Wilson off the top rope and onto the entire Fatal 4-Way field at ringside. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #VengeanceDay

The NXT Tag Team Championships were defended in a chaotic affair, and the most bruising team withstood everybody and walked out with the titles.

Elton Prince & Kit Wilson were on a mission to regain their titles, but Kofi Kingston delivered an electrifying performance after being tagged into the match. Kingston took out every competitor as he flew around the ring, ending his attack with an S.O.S. on Prince, but Wilson broke up the pinfall.

The action broke down in a big way with six men brawling on the outside, while Andre Chase tossed Kofi onto the pile of humanity from the ring. Chase followed with a wild superplex on Kit Wilson to ringside, taking out everybody in the process.

After Hudson started cleaning house in and out of the ring, Gallus took him out of the match by delivering a ferocious powerbomb through the announce table. Xavier Woods found himself alone with Gallus during the chaos, leaving him vulnerable. Seconds later, Gallus struck with their elbow and powerslam combo to win the NXT Tag Team Titles.

Roxanne Perez def. Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne in a Triple Threat Match to retain the NXT Women's Championship

The NXT Women’s Championship is on the line and Gigi Dolin is willing to do whatever it takes to dethrone Roxanne Perez. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #VengeanceDay

Even though the odds were heavily stacked against Roxanne Perez, she proved that she is still the woman to beat in NXT.

Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne have been a thorn in the side of the champion for weeks and continued to play that role during the match. Despite it being a Triple Threat Match, Jayne and Dolin worked together to incapacitate the champion, but the cracks in their friendship began to slowly show.

As the pair beat down Perez, they couldn’t settle on who should make the cover, and their selfishness and jealousy reared its ugly head and caused an implosion. The two women started attacking each other, evening the odds for the champ.

Perez later hit a Pop Rox on Dolin on the outside and then kicked her off the apron through a precariously placed table, allowing her enough time to hit a Super Pop Rox on Jayne from the top rope and retain her title.

Bron Breakker def. Grayson Waller to retain the NXT Championship

After weeks of animosity, the NXT Champion Bron Breakker unleashes his ferocious offense onto Grayson Waller with a superplex off the top of the cage. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #VengeanceDay

Months of trash talk, sneak attacks and brawls prepared Bron Breakker for the fight of his life against Grayson Waller inside a Steel Cage.

Fittingly, the fighting started before the match began as Waller attacked the champ when he tried to enter the steel structure. The two men finally got locked inside, and the Superstars proceeded to bludgeon each other. Breakker was visibly happy to finally get his hands on the silver-tongued Aussie, but Waller outsmarted the champion by moving out of the way of a spear that sent Breakker directly into the cage.

A legal low-blow from Waller was followed by his signature stunner, but the champion kicked out. Waller scaled the cage only to be followed by Breakker, and the champion delivered a devastating superplex to the challenger.

Breakker immediately followed that up with a spear, but the champion made it a point to humiliate the man who did the same to him as he hit another, even more powerful spear to end the match and retain the NXT Championship.
