Full NXT Level Up results, featuring Akira Tozawa battling Joe Coffey in an NXT Global Heritage Invitational Group B Match, Ikemen Jiro taking on Tavion Heights, and Fallon Henley tangling with Karmen Petrovic.
Tavion Heights def. Ikemen Jiro
In a match of polar opposite Superstars, mat technician Tavion Heights tangled with the lighthearted Ikemen Jiro in one of the more unique bouts in recent NXT Level Up history.
True to form, Jiro attempted to get under the skin of Heights by starting the match with a handstand on the top turnbuckle followed by a cartwheel. He also made certain sure to flaunt his pink-and-white jacket at every opportunity and eventually landed several stinging Jacket Punches.
Though seemingly a bit frustrated with Jiro’s antics, the former Olympian stuck with his game plan, dodging a top-rope senton, hitting a vicious clothesline and scoring the three-count with a nasty overhead suplex.
Fallon Henley def. Karmen Petrovic
Having won six consecutive matches on WWE’s newest brand, Fallon Henley was a ball of energy from the moment she stepped through the curtain to take on deadly rookie Karmen Petrovic.
Petrovic, a karate master who brandished a sword during her march to the ring, appeared ready and willing to do anything to secure her first WWE victory, talking smack in the early goings and landing a menacing forearm to the lower back to claim the upper hand.
However, “NXT’s Resident Cowgirl” caught fire with series of clotheslines, a modified bulldog and a decisive Shining Wizard before celebrating in the entranceway with Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen.
Joe Coffey def. Akira Tozawa in a Group B Heritage Invitational Match
After Joe Coffey defeated Nathan Frazer to earn two points in his first Heritage Invitational Match, Joe Coffey was hellbent on defeating Akira Tozawa to maintain his stranglehold on the tournament standings.
The Stamina Monster, who was defeated by Duke Hudson in his first bout, competed with frenzied desperation, staggering his bigger adversary with a knee to the face before launching himself through the ropes with a tope to wipe out Coffey at ringside.
Not to be denied, the savage Coffey fired back with a double underhook suplex from the top rope and All the Best for the Bells to improve to 2-0 in the tournament.
