Lola Vice def. Carlee Bright via Submission
Though she recently won the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, Lola Vice is not resting on her laurels.
Matched against exciting newcomer Carlee Bright, Lola took nothing for granted, out-grappling the rookie in the early goings and landing a picture-perfect spinebuster while mocking her opponent.
With her mom in attendance and cheering her on, “The Ray of Sunshine” struck back with two reverse elbows and a dropkick, but “The Strike Artist” landed a nasty kick to the midsection and secured the win with the Vice Grip submission hold.
Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Luca Crusifino def. Javier Bernal & Drake Morreaux
Teaming for the first time, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino took on the fellow new tandem of Javier Bernal and Drake Morreaux, the latter of whom impressed the WWE Universe by effortlessly chucking Stacks across the ring and showcasing his incredible strength in his first-ever match.
The new consigliere of The D’Angelo Family seemingly made a solid first impression, making a timely blind tag and ruthlessly targeting Morreaux’s arm in the early goings.
Late in the match, Stacks caught fire and overwhelmed each of his opponents before spiking Morreaux with the decisive Cement Shoes.
Sol Ruca def. Wren Sinclair
From the first note of Sol Ruca’s entrance music, it was obvious that the promising young Superstar was sorely missed by the WWE Universe, who greeted her with booming chants of “welcome back.”
Having missed nearly 11 months with a knee injury, Ruca faced tough opposition from Sinclair, an impressive rookie who bounced off the ropes and sent her foe face-first into the canvas.
Ruca, however, withstood Sinclair’s attack. And for the first time since last April, the WWE Universe members were once again treated to Ruca’s spellbinding Soul Snatcher when she landed a dropkick and followed up with the devastating maneuver.
