Brooks Jensen def. Je’Von Evans

Not many competitors have thoroughly dazzled the NXT Universe in their first career bout, but it took Je’Von Evans all of 30 seconds to accomplish that feat when he used the back of his legs to bounce off the top rope and slung Brooks Jensen across the ring with a headscissors takedown all in one motion.

The flashy competitor pushed the pace, but Jensen eventually answered with a vicious running back elbow to the jaw.

Jensen slowed the bout to his liking, and even though Evans had one final flurry that was punctuated by a springboard crossbody that resulted in a long two-count, Jensen powerslammed his airborne opponent and landed a top-rope knee to the face to earn the win.

Izzi Dame def. Gigi Dolin

Seeking what would likely represent the biggest win of her young career, Izzi Dame was laser-focused for her bout against former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Gigi Dolin.

Perhaps channeling some energy from her coldhearted associate Kiana James, Dame scored an early takedown and made certain to stand over her downed opponent.

“Hell’s Favorite Harlot” nearly clinched the win with a crossbody from the top rope, but after several assists from James, Dame connected with a clothesline and a decisive Zi-Quil.
