Dante Chen def. Drake Morreaux

Donning face paint and with the WWE Universe firmly behind him, “The Gatekeeper of NXT” Dante Chen put another rookie to the test, battling tooth and nail with Drake Morreaux and narrowly edging the young Superstar for a hard-earned win.

Morreaux, who wielded a giant wooden paddle on his way to the ring, used his size advantage to overpower Chen in the early goings and shook the ring when he used one arm to fling Chen into the turnbuckles.

Chen took a play out of The Undertaker’s playbook by walking the ropes and connecting with Old School, and he eventually sealed the win by leveling Morreaux with his devastating strike, the Chentle Touch.

Tatum Paxley def. Brinley Reece

Arguably the most erratic and unpredictable Superstar in WWE, Tatum Paxley brought her unsettling energy to her bout against the upbeat Brinley Reece, who knocked out a round of pop-up pushups after bounding to the ring.

Reece seemed a bit rattled by Paxley’s bizarre demeanor, particularly when Paxley whispered something into her ear in the early goings.

Reece nevertheless shook it off to floor Paxley with a scoop slam and a handspring clothesline, but Paxley caught her foe in the Psycho Trap for the three-count.

OTM def. Je’Von Evans, Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont

Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont proved to have impeccable timing during a recent incident in the Performance Center gym, providing backup for rookie sensation Je’Von Evans just as SCRYPTS, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price cornered Evans and looked ready to pounce.

No physicality ensued at the time, but all six Superstars brought the fisticuffs for their main event melee, including when Evans and SCRYPTS started the match with a dizzying display of reversals and airborne attacks during the second Six-Man Tag Team Match in NXT Level Up history.

After a wild flurry of action that featured Evans soaring through the skies to hit everything that moved and bring the NXT Arena to a fever pitch, Jaida Parker hopped onto the apron to briefly distract Dupont. Seconds later, Dupont received a kick to the face just prior to Price and Nima hitting their impressive tandem maneuver for the win.
