The WWE Universe has already seen how creative Superstars can get when it comes to customizing their Money in the Bank briefcases. (Remember RVD’s Dude-abiding yin-yang design?)
How to watch Money in the Bank | Your guide to every Money in the Bank Ladder Match competitor
That got us thinking about how briefcases might look for Superstars who haven’t yet won — or, in some instances, competed in — the high-risk, multi-Superstar Ladder Match insanity. How would Zack Ryder carry the contract if it ended up on Long Island? Or what if a briefcase came into the possession of Bray Wyatt? WWE.com decided to find out.
Upon the briefcase’s first trip to the Wyatt compound, smart money says it'll be stored away in the same dark shack that houses Bray's most warped secrets — perhaps outdoors, near a familiar stump that doubles as a soapbox for The Eater of World’s swampy sermons. Is it crazy to think the case might get a little waterlogged?
Sleek, edgy and covered in gold, The Bizarre One’s Money in the Bank briefcase would be much like the man himself. We don’t know what else Goldust would store in there beside the contract, and we’re not sure we’d want to know.
The Phenom is a true living legend who’s more than earned his place atop WWE and doesn’t need a Money in the Bank briefcase to be considered a contender. It’s hard to even imagine The Deadman carrying anything but his bad self to the ring. That said, we’ve seen him push caskets, which was the inspiration for this design.
Pumpin’ fists and cashin’ in! Should Long Island Iced-Z ever win the all-important Money in the Bank Ladder Match, we bet he’d jump at the chance to personalize his briefcase, possibly with a loud design that reps his home region.
KO Punch tested, Big Show approved. That’s how we imagine The World’s Largest Athlete’s design process might work. Aesthetically, the case would serve as a reminder of Big Show’s propensity for mauling opponents like a hungry grizzly. Weapons of mass destruction, meanwhile, must also be handled with the strictest care, inside the strongest, most secure cases.
All red everything, right? Right! In the not quite inevitable scenario that Eva Marie climbs the ladder to win Money in the Bank, we have a pretty good feeling she’d transfer her contract into something cuter and more totable. If it sparkles, all the better.
Adam Rose has no shortage of Rosebuds to watch over a contract, leading us to think the party starter would ditch the Steve McMichael-approved Halliburton and store his paperwork in a party bag. Also included: lollipops, fresh balloons and the keys to the Exotic Express.
The Italian Stallion is a master of the martial arts, and there’s no better proof of that than his Cobra strike. Maybe to ensure the contract’s safety, he’d keep it in a Cobra crate, next to the very green sock that packs a lethal bite.
