With nearly 20 years of international experience, Tyson Dux isn’t just one of the Cruiserweight Classic’s best-rounded competitors — he’s also one of the most dangerous. Nicknamed “Textbook” for his masterful approach inside the ring, the gruff veteran has been a fixture of Ontario’s independent wrestling scene since he was a teenager.

Whether it’s innovative, high-impact slams like a Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles, or subtle, but equally devastating, submission holds like the Texas Cloverleaf, chances are Dux knows how to apply it with maximum precision. Dux is no stranger to big platforms, either. He has competed in WWE before (dating back to the early 2000s), once represented his country in a wrestling world cup, and has fought in the fabled Super 8 Tournament presented by the East Coast Wrestling Alliance.

Will Dux’s diverse background pave the way to success in the Cruiserweight Classic?
