STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN: “I think you need more Superstars. You need more depth on this roster. John Cena and every top guy here wants another dance partner, but you’ve got to get up that ladder to be a dance partner. You’ve got to go on a limb. … You have to take a chance. I get this all the time on my show: ‘Steve, how do you get to the top in sports-entertainment?’ … As a promoter, what are you looking for in a potential WWE Superstar?”

VINCE McMAHON: “I’m looking for someone who has charisma, someone who has a great deal of heart, strong work ethic and some innate skills, and someone who wants to work as much as they possibly can — in fact, we learn every single day. All of us. You did, everyday; everyone does. As a promoter, you do. So you want someone with those kinds of skills: verbal skills, physical skills, and someone who has the passion for our business. And once you find that, it’s simply giving someone those tools to work with, put them in the right environment against the right opponent. From there, you continue to build. First thing you know, you’ve got yourself a star.”

AUSTIN: “Are we ever going to see ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage in the WWE Hall of Fame?”

McMAHON: “Oh, absolutely. Definitely … I’m not so sure if it’s this year, but it’d be soon. Yes, he’s going in.”

AUSTIN:“[Sting’s] role in WWE. What’s it going to be?”

McMAHON: “I think that he made a hell of impression his first time in. … His character is one in which you don’t need to see a lot of, because you become accustomed to it. … I think you’ll see some of Sting, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he showed up at WrestleMania.”
