10-year-old boy saves 2-year-old brother with CPR after learning how from watching The Rock in "San Andreas"

A heartwarming and incredible story came to light earlier this week when it was revealed that 10-year-old Jacob O'Connor saved his 2-year-old brother Dylan's life after Jacob found Dylan lying face down in their pool.

Jacob pulled Dylan out of the pool and then began to apply CPR and chest compressions. For a 10-year-old to possess these skills is impressive enough on its own, but the story took another amazing turn: Jacob actually learned these skills from watching his favorite movie, The Rock's "San Andreas."

Hearing this, The Rock took to Instagram to let Jacob know how impressed he was by Jacob's heroics and also said that he would love to meet the young hero. A few weeks later Jacob and Dylan were on the set of The Rock's new film "Skyscraper," to give hugs, and free sweets to the entire family.

Ladies and gentlemen, I finally met this real life 10yr old hero, Jacob O'Connor. He rescued his 2yr old brother after finding him facedown in their pool. I said, not only do I shake hands, but when I meet heroic kids, I give hugs.. now get in here. Despite the fact I looked like 9 ways of hell, battered and bloodied from my scenes, Jacob reluctantly, gave me a hug. ???. A very special day we had on our #Skyscraper set. #JacobOConnor #Hero

Big Rock hugs for mama Christa O'Connor. As you can imagine, she's so proud of her son and even more, so grateful to have her boys. She told me that at first she wondered "Wait, I am just calling Jacob a hero because I'm a proud mom and he's my son? Then I said, no wait.. he IS a real hero for saving his brother's life". Amen. Yup, he sure is. Thank you so much Christa for flying out to Vancouver to allow us to meet you and your boys, Jacob and Gavin. We had a blast and grateful to have you on our set. #OConnorFamily #ProudMama

Surprise! (mama shedding a few happy tears for her boys) I told Jacob and his brother Gavin that when kids visit my movie sets, it's like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory because children get to eat all the chocolate and sweets they want and the best part is...IT'S ALL FREE. Well someone has to pay for it, but it ain't me or the kids lol. Thank you to our entire #Skyscraper crew for all doing their part to make this visit special for this family. #OnSet #RockWonka #OConnorFamily #SugarRush

This story grabbed my heart. 10yr Jacob O'Connor found his little 2yr old brother, Dylan laying facedown in their pool. He pulled his little brother out and started CPR & chest compressions. He saved little Dylan's life. Jacob said he learned how to do this by watching me in his favorite movie, SAN ANDREAS. I'm so amazed and impressed by this little 10yr old boy's heroic actions and calm instincts in the middle of that kind of emergency distress. I now need to shake young Jacob's hand...

I gotta shake the hand of a real life 10yr old hero. Jacob, I'm gonna fly you and your family out to Vancouver so I can meet you. Hopefully, your little 2yr old brother, Dylan is well enough to fly because I wanna meet him too. I'll have some very nice people contact your family in the upcoming days to make the arrangements. Can't wait to meet you big man. And make sure you bring your sweet tooth! ???
