TIME magazine has unveiled their 2016 list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Among the honorees this year are Ronda Rousey, Pope Francis, 2016 presidential candidates and none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
Listed as a "titan" alongside the pontiff and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg, The Rock's status as an action movie star, his uncanny charisma and his unbridled character are all key factors in his placement on the list.
"As his 100 million followers on social media know, this guy is up every day at 4 a.m. and hardly ever goes to sleep. On top of that, he has the kind of open and engaged personality that genuinely makes people feel really good when he’s around," director Peter Berg says in the TIME 100 feature.
