Los Angeles is officially Title Town, and they’ve got the WWE hardware to prove it.
Led by Corey Seager, Mookie Betts and Clayton Kershaw, the Los Angeles Dodgers won their first World Series in 32 years Monday night with a 3-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. After the historic title win, WWE EVP of Talent, Live Events & Creative Triple H sent a custom WWE Championship to the Dodgers to celebrate their title.
The clinching victory had Peyton Royce jumping for joy on Tuesday night.
Santos Escobar tipped his cap to Dodgers pitcher Jose Urías representing Mexio in his World Series celebration.
Earlier this month, WWE delivered a custom title to the Los Angeles Lakers for their NBA Title victory.
The Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Seattle Storm all have received custom championships this year as well.
