John Cena performs 530-pound pause squat in a Darth Vader mask for Star Wars Day

Most folks celebrate Star Wars Day by loafing on the couch like Jabba the Hutt while tweeting dated hot takes about the prequels. John Cena does things a little bit differently.

The 16-time World Champion showed off his Wookiee-like strength (without pulling anyone's arm out of its socket) in a video posted to his Twitter account in recognition of May the 4th, which has been celebrated as Star Wars Day in recent years.

Donning a Darth Vader mask, Cena showed the squat rack who its father was by busting out a 530-pound lift — with a pause, which may or may not have been the result of a temporary force choke.

Cena certainly set some kind of record for Star Wars-related lifting. Now the only question is, how fast can he do the Kessel Run?
