John Cena set to host “Saturday Night Live” tonight

Get ready for John Cena's debut as "Saturday Night Live" host with the first promo for Saturday's show.

John Cena is set to conquer another venue – host of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

The official Twitter account for “SNL” revealed its next three hosts, and tonight, the 15-time World Champion takes center stage inside New York City’s famous 30 Rock.

Cena is the third WWE Superstar to host NBC’s long-running variety show; Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has hosted “SNL” four times since 1999.

Ahead of his debut as host of "Saturday Night Live," John Cena discusses preparing skits sketches for the show, as well as his willingness to make fun of himself.

Although he's no stranger to a live television audience, John Cena discusses his trepidation - and excitement - of hosting "Saturday Night Live" for the first time.

In the days leading to his first time hosting "Saturday Night Live," John Cena talks about the similarities between "SNL" and WWE, his longtime goal of being a host and what's expected of everyone who steps on stage.

The Cenation Leader is no stranger to dishing out laughs, recently showing off his comedic ability in films such as “Trainwreck” and “Sisters” (both of which featured “SNL” alums like Bill Hader, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler).  He was recently announced for the upcoming comedy “The Pact” alongside Leslie Mann. Cena is also the host of Fox’s reality show, “American Grit,” and has been a special co-host multiple times on NBC’s “TODAY.”
