NXT Superstars debut with new ring names in return home to India
NEW DELHI – WWE’s visit to India this weekend has not only been historic, but also a homecoming to remember for two NXT Superstars in the making. Satender Ved Pal, a two-time Kushti National Heavyweight Champion, and Lovepreet Sangha, a former World Kabbadi League Champion, made their match debuts under new ring names in front of their hometown fans at the Indira Gandhi Arena.
While making his way to the squared circle for his match Friday, Ved Pal was introduced to the crowd as Jeet Rama. Sangha, meanwhile, meanwhile, made his in-ring debut as Kishan Raftar. Both NXT Superstars were victorious in their first matches, making the Live Event even more memorable for Rama and Raftar, as well as the crowd in attendance.

Jeet Rama and Kishan Raftar won’t have to wait long for an opportunity to further cement their new names in the record books – both will see mat action Saturday night, when WWE Live concludes its first visit to India in 13 years with another Live Event at the Indira Gandhi Arena.
