Lovin' Life, No. 11
Hey guys! It's that time again … time (and once again overdue) for me to answer your questions. I got an overwhelming amount of compliments on my Faith, Heart & Soul blogs. Thank you! Because of that, I am going to make it a goal of mine to do a weekly blog along with answering your questions. Double the fun! Thanks for all of you that said you voted for me to become the first-ever Ms. SmackDown! Keep voting. It's you guys that make it all possible! =) I love each and every one of you!
Thought for the day: "Worry looks around. Sorry looks back. Faith looks up!" As always, keeping the faith & lovin' life, Michelle.
Question: Hi Michelle, first of all, I'm a big fan and love the work you do on Friday nights. It was very good of you to kick Chuck to the curb. But does this mean you might have something with Mr. Jamie Noble in the future? Anyways, on to my main question: If you found a magical genie in a bottle, what would your three wishes be? I'm really interested to see what a person who has everything going for them might wish for. Hopefully you can reply. - Paul B
Michelle McCool: Hi Paul ... Thank you! Good question and one I'll have to think about for a second. I'm going to have to give you two sets though (one personal and one work related … hope that's OK). Let's see …
Work related:
1. First & foremost, to be WWE Women's Champion.
2. To really kick Chuck where it counts for all the crud he put me through!
3. To go down in history as one tough chick who gave her heart and soul to a business she truly loves.
Personal:
1. To make at least 20 people smile everyday of my life.
2. To have my own private island where my friends and family can go vacation anytime they want! =)
3. That at any given moment, I could totally read someone's mind if I wanted to … yeah, a mind reader! (Only when I wanted to though.) =)
Question: I have an idea for you. I think this would help you out with the Chuck problem. I think you should talk to Kane and explain your situation and ask him to help you out! - Allison Mauerman
Michelle McCool: You know what, Allison, that doesn't sound like a bad idea! If I could get up the nerve to talk to the Big Red Monster, I might do just that!
Comment: I read 'Lovin' Life No. 9' and I shall print that article and keep it for when the going gets tough. I've been through some very hard times myself at work; I won't bore you with the details. But I stuck to my guns for the sake of my career and reputation and managed to move on. Unfortunately, this matter has negatively affected my self-confidence. So, I find your articles very positive and inspiring. I guess you've been through some hard times as well. Your last paragraph is awesome…
"Did I have people who said I couldn't be a Diva? Do I have people who (usually don't even know me) continue to say bad things about me to try and hurt me? Have I, at times, doubted myself and wanted to give up? Yes, yes and yes!!!! But you know what? That's what makes me try even harder! Keep a smile on your face, kill people with kindness, be brave, classy and don't let the negative keep you from being true to yourself! Dream big and love life."
Michelle, thanks again for sharing these feelings with we humble fans.
Michelle McCool: Hi there! First, let me say congratulations! I am proud of you for standing up for yourself and something you believe in (no matter what it may have been). A lot of times, it's a lot easier to walk away without ever saying anything at all than to stand up for yourself, even if it means you are standing alone. Don't let this affect you negatively. As hard as it may seem, put a smile on your face, have faith, and the rest will take care of itself.
Question: First off, I just want to say you're amazing! One of the reasons you're my favorite Diva is because you have faith in God and everything you do and that's big for me. Another reason is you're beautiful and are a great wrestler.
And, now on another note, I've read some places on WWE.com that you played softball. I play softball for a 14-and-under fastpitch travel softball team. Did you play in high school or travel ball? I know that even though I missed a lot of parties, I wouldn't trade this softball experience for anything -- what about you? And, keeping with the sports theme, when did you start wrestling and realize you wanted to be become a Diva?
Thanks Michelle for being an inspiration for all the young divas. - Megan
Michelle McCool: Hi Megan! Yes, I played softball, both high school and travel ball. It was worth every minute of it. I was never into parties myself. I love having fun and am blessed to have some wonderful friends. To me though, and sometimes it's not a good thing, I was/am always about competition. I thrive on it and wouldn't trade it for the world. For me, the moment I saw they were holding the Diva Search, I knew it was my chance. Again, it was my passion that got me into the business in the first place. From the day I sent in pictures, the rest, as they say, is history!
Hello! I think that you are not only the sexiest Diva on SmackDown, but also in WWE. Victoria is just angry because she fell off the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down. Also, you are very beautiful. - Vacant
Michelle McCool: Hi there … oh my goodness! You are funny! I am sitting here in the airport laughing out loud (and yes, people are looking at me like I'm crazy). I have to agree -- not only did she fall off the tree; she definitely hit every branch on the way down! =)
Question: I'm a big wrestling fan, and when I saw where you were from in Florida, I was wondering if you had an older brother named Jeff. The reason I'm asking is because I use to work at the University of Cincinnati and I knew Jeff. He probably doesn't remember me -- I used to do the video for the football team. I wish you the best of luck and I will definitely root for you!! If Jeff is your brother tell him Randal from Cincy said hello. Good luck to you! - Randal Ridenour
Michelle McCool: Hi Randal! I sure do. I actually went up to visit him when he played at Cincy. Who knows? I may have actually met you then. I'll let him know (he'll probably actually see it on here). Take care! Go Bearcats!
Question: I enjoyed reading your blog, it's very honest and truthful. You define faith with heart and soul, which is true, in addition to providing courage, belief and determination. In order to reach the top, everyone starts from the bottom and struggles while climbing the ladder. You seem like a person with a good heart, a positive attitude and a good mind (moral, ethical, with common sense). Focus on the good and ignore the negativity. There are people that are HATERS. Their goals are to see people fall and fail in life. With hard work and dedication, anyone can succeed and make their dreams come true. With friends and family by your side, you will go far in life.
Basically, you are a role model and an icon. I give you a lot of credit and respect for your performance in and out of the ring. Every day/every week, you put out at least 120 percent of your blood, sweat and tears to entertain the people, That's GIRL POWER! Keep up the FANTASTIC JOB! <3<3
As for your outfits weekly, are you a fashion designer? Do you create your own wardrobe? You look FABULOUS! As the camera lights ricochet off you, it gives a glare which is very nice. What's missing around your waist is the WWE Women's Championship. Why don't you proceed toward it? Make that your main focus. I think you make a better wrestler as an individual (without Chuck). You mentioned that you are a good friend and loyal to your friendship with him. You are who you are; the way you treat someone, you would expect the same in return, but it doesn't work that way. You can guide people but cannot change them. It's up to them if they want to change. Life is full of surprises; you will learn something new each day and expect the unexpected.
Your new finisher is a total knock out! Impressive I say, it leaves your competitors unconscious as soon you apply it, similar to a face blaster. By the way, why isn't there a Women' Tag Team Championship??
I guess that's it for me. Thank you, Miss McCool for your time and attention.
Looking forward seeing you on SmackDown, - Willy Will
Michelle McCool: Hi Willy Will! =) First, let me say that your e-mail came at a perfect time. You know how you sometimes just need a little pick me up; well, your words did it! Thank you! Am I a fashion designer? No, not by any stretch of the imagination. I am actually so un-creative. (I'm pretty sure that's not a word, but you get what I mean!) However, yes, I do create my own wardrobe. I pick out what I'm comfortable in. I like chic, classy and sexy -- all with an edgy twist. I like to cover up a little more and leave some for the imagination … makes it more fun to me! Being comfortable is what makes your sexiness shine through! Thanks again for the compliment!
