Tommaso Ciampa’s dreams of defending the NXT Title at TakeOver: New York on WWE’s biggest weekend of the year were dashed when he was required to undergo neck surgery last month.

Except for a handful of tweets, The Blackheart has been mostly silent since the operation and since relinquishing “Goldy,” until now.
