Ahead of tonight's NXT New Year's Evil, Timothy Thatcher has been deemed medically unable to compete. Thatcher was originally slated to square off with Tommaso Ciampa in the Fight Pit.
WWE's McKenzie Mitchell first reported the news following a closed-door meeting between William Regal and NXT medical personnel.
The leader of the Thatch-As-Thatch-Can school of wrestling was bested by The Blackheart in a brutal showdown at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
