Put a dream on paper and watch it materialize. That’s a sentiment Johnny Gargano knows all too well.  Before “wins and championships” became his 2019 calling card, the hardest working man on the black-and-gold brand had a bucket list to match his appetite for Ws.

A tweet from Gargano today reminded the NXT Universe of his large-scale plans that date back to his 2015 NXT debut. Although Gargano accomplished almost everything on the list, including capturing the NXT Tag Team Titles and main-eventing TakeOver, there’s still one teeny feat that has eluded him: the NXT Championship.

Fortunately for Johnny Wrestling, he’ll have a chance to realize his dream at NXT TakeOver: New York, where he will battle Adam Cole in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the NXT Title. Can Gargano complete his bucket list in the “Big City of Dreams?”
