Goldberg congratulates Asuka on her impressive undefeated streak

Goldberg launched into sports-entertainment superstardom on the back of a 173-match undefeated streak that saw him jackhammer the competition into oblivion, picking up the WCW Championship and United States Title along the way. To say he knows in-ring devastation when he sees it is an understatement.

That’s why, over the weekend, Goldberg took the time to recognize reigning NXT Women’s Champion Asuka for the incredible undefeated streak she’s gone on since her arrival.

Since her NXT debut at TakeOver: Respect in October 2015, The Empress of Tomorrow has demolished everyone in her path en route to the NXT Women’s Championship. Despite her furious temperament between the ropes, Asuka seemed honored by Goldberg’s acknowledgment.

While Goldberg’s streak came to an end after 173 matches, there looks to be no end in sight for The Empress of Tomorrow’s as her streak and record-breaking title reign grow by the day. Is there anyone in NXT capable of defeating the devastating Asuka?
