Continuing the biggest summer in its 10-year history, EVOLVE Wrestling has announced the blockbuster lineups for its tour of the Midwest this August.

From NXT Superstars and first time-ever dream matches, to hotly anticipated rematches from EVOLVE’s 10th Anniversary Special on WWE Network, mat fans will have an up-close view to the future of wrestling when EVOLVE comes to Livonia, Mich., on Saturday, Aug. 24 and Chicago on Sunday, Aug. 25.

Among the newly announced bouts is Austin Theory defending the EVOLVE Championship in Chicago in a Triple Threat Match against his two top rivals, former WWN Champion JD Drake and Josh Briggs. Drake demanded a rematch after Theory threw down the WWN Title in the aftermath of their instant-classic Winner Take All Match on the WWE Network special. Drake took offense to the champion’s controversial actions, viewing them as disrespectful toward the title that Drake worked so hard to make prestigious.

Briggs, meanwhile, made his EVOLVE Title ambitions known that same night when he cut Theory’s victory celebration short with a thunderous chokeslam, as witnessed on WWE Network.

In addition to the all the in-ring action that’s on tap for Livonia and Chicago, EVOLVE will host meet-and-greets with NXT Superstars Matt Riddle, Tommaso Ciampa, Arturo Ruas and Babatunde at both events.
