WWE UNIVERSE: How good are Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady at teaching you how to wrestle?

CARMELLA: They've actually helped me so much in my training. Cass has a ton of experience and offers me a lot of great advice. As for Enzo, he actually helped me transfer my scrappiness into the ring.

WWE UNIVERSE: Would you ever consider dating Enzo?

CARMELLA: I will admit that while he comes off as an obstinate, boneheaded, chauvinist pig, there is actually a sweet and sensitive guy in there, somewhere. He thinks we are still in middle school where it's OK to pick on the girl you like, and that nonsense is not going to fly with me. He has a lot of growing up to do, and he has to learn how to treat me like the princess I am, but crazier things have happened, so who knows!

WWE UNIVERSE: Which Diva are you looking forward to facing the most this year?

CARMELLA: NXT Women's Champion Charlotte. Charlotte is one of the fiercest Divas to ever step foot into the ring. She always says, "In order to be the best, you have to beat the best," and that's a challenge I'm looking forward to taking on!

WWE UNIVERSE: What kind of music do you listen to?

CARMELLA: I really like all different types of music: rock, pop, rap and country. Something you probably wouldn't guess about me is that I actually really enjoy musical theater! I know every word to every song in the musical “Chicago.”

WWE UNIVERSE: When you were a child, did you ever think of being a WWE Diva?

CARMELLA: When I was a little girl, I loved Miss Elizabeth. I would dress up in my old dance costumes and my dad would carry me around on his shoulder. I thought I was a true Diva. Sometimes the craziest dreams actually turn into reality and I truly feel blessed for this opportunity.

WWE UNIVERSE: When did you decide you wanted to be a WWE Diva?

CARMELLA: I've been a performer my whole life. I've been a cheerleader in the NFL and NBA, so I have a very athletic background. My boys, Cass and Enzo, may have cost me my job as a hairdresser, but it was totally a blessing in disguise because I feel like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be.

WWE UNIVERSE: What's your dream match?

CARMELLA: My dream match would be with Trish Stratus. She was the epitome of a Diva and someone I looked up to as a little girl. Although she started as a fitness model, she didn't let that hold her back.  She was willing to work hard and wasn't afraid to take risks, which is something I think we have in common. It would be an absolute honor and dream come true to step in the ring with her.

WWE UNIVERSE: What is your favorite place to eat on a road trip?

CARMELLA: In-N-Out Burger.

CARMELLA: Oh, come on now! I'm a true fashionista, so if they were in season, of course!

WWE UNIVERSE: Do you plan on winning the NXT Women's Championship by the end of 2015?

CARMELLA: Absolutely. I'm headed straight for the top of the NXT Divas division. Although my road to NXT might have been different than the other Divas, I'm here to work. I put 100 percent into everything I do, and I won't quit until I reach the top. Plus, I think we can all agree that the NXT Women's Championship will look much more fabulous around my waist.
