Mark Andrews enters the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament
Mark Andrews, one of the premier high-flyers in the world, has entered the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament.
The competitor nicknamed “Mandrews” will be the lone representative of his home country of Wales in the two-day tournament, airing live and exclusively on WWE Network next Saturday and Sunday. With Andrews in the field, all four Home Nations are now represented.
The Cardiff native’s entry in the tournament may be a game changer. While most of his contemporary British wrestlers have focused on their ground game and brawling, Andrews set his sights on becoming a world-class aerial artist. If his trademark Shooting Star Press is anything to go by, Mandrews has succeeded, which could help him soar toward WWE’s newest championship.
Will Mark Andrews become the first-ever United Kingdom Champion? Find out during the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament, live on WWE Network Saturday, Jan. 14, and Sunday, Jan. 15, at 8 p.m. GMT/3 p.m. ET! Start your WWE Network trial today and you’ll be able to watch this historic event, along with NXT TakeOver: San Antonio and the 2017 Royal Rumble, for free!
