Grayson Waller def. Sunil Singh
With Samir supposedly in Mumbai filming a blockbuster Bollywood movie, Sunil Singh had to go it alone against Grayson Waller, who was making his 205 Live debut.
Waller’s arrogance was apparent from the moment he stepped through the curtain, as the newcomer shimmied and smirked from the ramp all the way to the squared circle.
He continued his showboating during the match as well, trash talking the former 24/7 Champion at every turn and earning the win by using his foot to spike his opponent face-first into the canvas.
Following the decisive victory, Waller celebrated with pushups, a summersault and a victory dance.
Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari def. Ari Sterling & Asher Hale
Although Ari Sterling and Asher Hale joined forces out of convenience against common enemies, the two thrill-a-minute newcomers nevertheless struggled to get on the same page in a heated tag team bout against Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari.
With Sterling asking for a tag early in the match, Hale technically gave him his wish, though he did so by slapping his partner across the chest. Hale also refused a mid-match fist bump from Sterling after the reluctant teammates nailed their opponents with a pair of high-risk maneuvers.
The Premier Athlete and The Persian Prince had no such issues, as the self-proclaimed 205 Live OGs trapped Sterling in their corner after a tag and simultaneously pummeled him with a barrage of right hands.
Sterling nearly scored the win for his team by springboarding off Hale and taking Daivari to the mat with a top-rope hurricanrana in the blink of an eye, but Hale blindly tagged himself back into the match. Moments later, Nese and Daivari used an impressive double-team maneuver, spiking Hale into the canvas and allowing The Premier Athlete to get the pinfall.
After the match, Hale stormed up the ramp while exchanging words with his partner.
