Team Foley members weigh in on their newest — and most surprising — teammate, The Miz

The Miz requests he be added to the night's RAWactive poll: Raw, Nov. 12, 2012

The Miz is trying to find a way to get a spot on Team Foley at Survivor Series.

As if there wasn’t enough intrigue surrounding this Sunday’s Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match between Team Foley and Team Ziggler, the WWE Universe decided to throw a curveball into the mix on Monday’s Raw. Voting in a RAWactive poll, the WWE Universe shockingly chose The Miz over Zack Ryder and Santino Marella to be the fifth and final member of Team Foley at WWE’s fall classic. (WATCH)

Now that the people have spoken, The Awesome One becomes, perhaps, the most unexpected Superstar on the squad. It’s an unforeseen development that raises several questions. After all, Miz shares rocky relationships with nearly all the members of Team Foley, including Foley himself, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and, the current Intercontinental Champion, “The Wildcat” Kofi Kingston, who recently unseated Miz for the title.

Will The Awesome One be the missing piece of the puzzle that brings Team Foley to victory? Or will he instead contribute to his team’s downfall? ( MATCH PREVIEW) WWE.com spoke with several members of Team Foley about the newest addition to the Survivor Series squad to see what they had to say.

“There’s only one way to figure out if Miz can actually be trusted and that’s to give the guy a chance,” commented WWE Legend and team captain Foley. “Time will tell the tale on Miz.”

“I just think The Miz is so awesome,” WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan sarcastically praised, before unsurprisingly turning the focus back on himself. “Everybody thinks he’s so good. Well, do you know what? I’m awesome and I’m good, too.”

Meanwhile, Kofi has the most recent issues with Miz. “Hopefully we can put our differences aside for this Survivor Series match,” the Intercontinental Champion stated. “But anyone who’s been watching Miz and me over the past few weeks knows this is going to be difficult. I don’t trust him, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.”

Is Kofi right to doubt the objectives of his new teammate? Or will The Miz make the most of his shot at redemption? The answers will be revealed this Sunday Nov. 18, at the 26th annual Survivor Series. (HOW TO WATCH)
