Cesaro def. Gran Metalik
Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro continued to frustrate Lucha House Party and ignited friction among the team. After both Kalisto & Lince Durado argued over the right advice to give Gran Metalik going into the match, the duo was eventually ejected from ringside. The King of the Ropes almost pulled off the win with an aerial assault, but Cesaro got his knees up on the final splash. The Swiss Cyborg then hit a Neutralizer and pinned Gran Metalik for the statement win. Can Lucha House Party get back on the same page before their WWE Clash of Champions showdown with the SmackDown Tag Team Champions?
Nikki Cross def. Lacey Evans
As Nikki Cross tried to dig into what’s been possessing Alexa Bliss lately, Lacey Evans cut into “A Moment of Bliss” with a challenge for Cross. Cross and Evans would brawl in the ring, and The Sassy Southern Belle dug into some dirty tactics as she rubbed hand sanitizer into the eyes of the Scottish Superstar. After the maneuver, Cross found her mean streak and defeated Evans following a devastating DDT and a crushing neckbreaker. After the match, Bliss snapped into a trance at Evans mention of The Fiend and delivered a Sister Abigail to the unsuspecting Superstar.
Bayley delivers another shocking attack on Sasha Banks
Sasha Banks fired back at Bayley for her heinous attack and scathing message last week by letting the SmackDown Women’s Champion know she’d be nothing without The Boss. Shortly after, Bayley blindsided her former friend with a steel chair attack and left Banks sprawled on the floor once again.
AJ Styles def. Sami Zayn
Both AJ Styles and Sami Zayn believe the Intercontinental Championship rightfully belongs to them, and even a win by The Phenomenal One isn’t stopping The Great Liberator’s claim to the title. Zayn appeared headed for a win with a crafty roll-up, but the official stopped the count due to Zayn holding Styles’ tights. Despite the loss, Zayn quickly scrambled to declare it wasn’t “an official title match” and demanded to be announced as the champion. Jeff Hardy would then emerge to take out both competitors and send a message in true Hardy fashion using tables and ladders.
Roman Reigns & Jey Uso def. Sheamus & King Corbin – Samoan Street Fight
Before the match, Roman Reigns asserted his dominance over his yard and his island on the blue brand and then backed it up early on with a steel chair. After a huge knee by The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus and King Corbin would swarm The Big Dog. The towering Superstars then sent Jey Uso through a table and were shocked when the high-flyer kicked out of the pin. The chaotic brawl continued on in the Samoan Street Fight until the cousins teamed up for a Reigns’ Spear and an Uso Splash to take out Corbin for the win.
