“Stone Cold” Steve Austin co-signs Kevin Owens’ use of the Stunner

Far in the distance, above the Broken Skull Ranch, white smoke arises from the chimney on 316 Gimmick Street, which can only mean one thing: Steve Austin is cool with Kevin Owens using the Stunner.
The former Universal Champion — and potential future WWE Champion — broke out The Texas Rattlesnake’s legendary finishing maneuver in the main event of SmackDown LIVE, using it to notch a pinfall on Daniel Bryan en route to their title bout at WWE Fastlane. Owens has hit the move before but never beat anybody with it, which prompted this tongue-in-cheek tweet for which Austin delivered a seal of approval. “When executed properly,” he wrote on Twitter, “the results are complete devastation.”
