Mansoor def. August Grey
After making a confident pre-match boast that he’s a party starter and a streak ender, August Grey clearly wasn’t sweating Mansoor, who entered the bout with a 44-0 record.
The Life of the Party came within an eyelash of a win after dropping his opponent with So Much Prettier, but Mansoor bounced out of the ring after the impact. Grey was about to claim a count-out victory, but he instead jumped out of the ring to break the official’s count at nine, stating that he didn’t want to win that way.
Upon throwing Mansoor back into the squared circle, however, Grey found himself rolled up in the blink of an eye for the three-count!
Mansoor offered a handshake after the bell, and Grey accepted after some hesitance, but he quickly threw Mansoor’s hand away and exited.
Chase Parker & Sunil Singh def. Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari
Still winless as partners, Ever-Rise and The Bollywood Boyz decided to give it one last try, agreeing to call off the alliance if Chase Parker and Sunil Singh proved unable to finally claim the first victory for “Bolly-Rise.”
The self-imposed ultimatum didn’t mean that Parker and Sunil were committed to following the rules against Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari, however.
First, Parker dove across the ring to break up a pinfall attempt after Daivari landed a frog splash on Sunil. Then, Daivari picked up his gold chain that Samir had just thrown into the ring, and when the official questioned The Persian Prince about it, Sunil took advantage of the distraction with a surprise rollup for the 1-2-3!
All four members of “Bolly-Rise” hugged and danced at ringside while Nese and Daivari threw a fit in the ring as 205 Live concluded.
