Update: Becky Lynch suspended for 60 days despite being examined by medical personnel
UPDATE: Despite undergoing medical examination on her injured knee and apologizing for her recent actions toward Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, Becky Lynch was suspended for 60 days on the Feb. 11 edition of Raw, and will miss WrestleMania. Charlotte Flair will now replace The Man in that match.
Original story below.
Stephanie McMahon suspended Becky Lynch until The Man has her injured left knee examined and cleared by WWE medical personnel.
On the night she won the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match, which she parlayed into a Raw Women’s Championship opportunity against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania, Lynch sustained a knee injury and has required a brace ever since. When Stephanie pressed the issue tonight on Monday Night Raw, Lynch refused medical attention once again. As McMahon issued a suspension, Lynch attacked the WWE Chief Brand Officer, who seemed to further injure Lynch’s knee in the ensuing brawl.
Becky was escorted out of the arena shortly afterward.
