Braun Strowman agreed to cash in his Money in the Bank contract at WWE Hell in a Cell
TORONTO — Braun Strowman is calling his shot. Having been thwarted by the reunion of The Shield last week, Mr. Monster in the Bank declared his intentions at the conclusion of his summit with Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the start of Raw: In a move that would both circumvent The Hounds of Justice and allow him to make good on his promise to cash in his Money in the Bank contract face-to-face, Strowman challenged Reigns to a title match at (and inside) Hell in a Cell that will serve as The Monster Among Men’s cash-in.
Reigns accepted and shook Strowman’s hand, though Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre were quick to crash the party and challenge Reigns & Strowman to a tag team match, citing their need for a new challenge. (According to Ziggler, he’s had Seth Rollins’ number every time they fought and is biding his time until he calls in his rematch for the Intercontinental Title). Out came Constable-turned-Acting General Manager Baron Corbin to make his first, second and third matches as showrunner: 1) Strowman's cash-in against Reigns in a Hell in a Cell Match; 2) Ziggler & McIntyre vs. Reigns & Strowman for later in the night; and 3) a surprise match between Finn Bálor and The Lone Wolf himself that was due to start then and there.
