Power restored at Raw after lightning strike

The American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, loses power after being struck by lightning, mere hours before Raw goes live on USA Network.

A force of nature wreaked havoc earlier today at Raw and, no, we’re not talking about Brock Lesnar.

During a summer storm that brought thunder, lightning and heavy rains to Corpus Christi, Texas, a bolt of lightning struck the American Bank Center, rendering the arena powerless. As a result, Superstars were forced to get ready for tonight’s action in total darkness or, in some cases, by candlelight.

Fortunately, power has been restored to the arena, and Raw will begin as scheduled at 8/7 C on USA Network.
