On a must-see edition of NXT UK, Moustache Mountain will defend their NXT UK Tag Team Championship against Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match, Sam Gradwell and Kenny Williams get set to pummel one another in a Back Alley Brawl, and Emilia McKenzie takes on Stevie Turner.

For Smith and Carter, Thursday’s title bout represents their second chance to finally secure championship gold after teaming together for about two-and-a-half years.

Their first title bout with Moustache Mountain ended in controversy when Trent Seven shoved Smith’s foot off the bottom rope to prevent the referee from halting the decisive three-count. When Smith and Carter approached Tyler Bate and Seven about another championship match, Moustache Mountain challenged them to prove themselves in a pair of singles bouts.

Carter defeated Bate before Seven upended Smith, leading Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala to make a 2o-out-of-3 Falls Match to settle the score.

Will Moustache Mountain add to their reputation as arguably the most successful duo in NXT UK history, or will Smith and Carter at long last raise championship gold?
