Nina Samuels vs. Blair Davenport ended in a No Contest
Moments before their scheduled matchup was to begin, the gothic charisma of Blair Davenport turned completely volatile when she suddenly unleashed a vicious pre-match attack on Nina Samuels from behind before driving her into the canvas in the center of the ring.
A sea of NXT UK officials quickly emerged to reestablish order and, when Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala ordered Blair to calm down and leave the squared circle, the out-of-control competitor grabbed him and planted him into the mat as well.
Jack Starz & Dave Mastiff def. Dan Moloney & Andy Wild
The tandem of Jack Starz and “Bomber” Dave Mastiff continued to build synergy as a tag team when they lit up Dan Moloney & Andy Wild. In the culmination of a symphony of tag team precision, Mastiff hurled Moloney onto the top turnbuckle and into the Tree of Woo. This set up Starz to execute the flying headbutt and paved the way for Bomber’s devastating Into the Void for another huge victory.
Emila McKenzie def. Amale
Despite suffering a wicked drive-by boot to the face from Amale in the final moments of their hard-hitting match-up, Emila McKenzie was able to escape her opponent and roll her up for a very significant triumph!
Teoman def. Nathan Frazer to advance to the Semifinals in the NXT UK Heritage Cup No. 1 Contender’s Tournament
In a tough Quarterfinals showdown contested under Heritage Cup rules, Teoman went one-on-one with Nathan Frazer.
After Rohan Raja pushed his man out of the way and sacrificed himself by taking the full brunt of Frazer’s dive through the ropes, Teoman gained the upper hand and planted his opponent with an earth-shattering right to pick up the first fall in Round 2. After the bell saved Teoman in Round 3, Frazer delivered a lightning quick powerslam directly into the cover to pick up his fall in Round 4. Then when Raja distracted Frazer as the high-flyer was climbing to the top rope, the interference caused Frazer to miss his mark and paved the way for Teoman to hit a jaw-droppingly innovative Impact Flipping DDT to ultimately overcome his opponent 2-1.
With the victory, Teoman earned the right to advance to the Semifinals of the NXT UK Heritage Cup No. 1 Contender’s Tournament where he will face the winner of next week’s Quarterfinals Match between Sam Gradwell and Gallus’ Wolfgang.
