NXT UK Tag Team Champions Gallus def. Amir Jordan & Kenny Williams in a Non-Title Match
NXT UK is back, and so are the Gallus boys — in a big way. NXT UK Tag Team Champions Mark Coffey & Wolfgang defeated Amir Jordan & Kenny Williams, putting Jordan away with a devastating enziguri-powerslam combination. But Gallus quickly learned afterward that Jordan & Williams aren’t the only potential threat to their title reign. Former champions Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster, as well as The Hunt, Pretty Deadly, and Ashton Smith & Oliver Carter approached the ring to lock their eyes on Coffey & Wolfgang’s gold.
Piper Niven confronted NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray ahead of their match next week
A meeting in the ring between the former best friends turned tense in a hurry, when Kay Lee Ray declared she would prove she was better than Piper Niven in next week's title showdown before attempting to blindside her foe. Niven was more than ready, though, confidently countering the blow and prompting KLR to retreat.
Aoife Valkyrie def. Isla Dawn
Aoife Valkyrie picked up an impressive victory over Isla Dawn, overwhelming her with blistering offense. Though Dawn showed resilience in kicking out after eating a huge spinning heel kick and a blockbuster, she had no answer for Valkyrie's top-rope split leg drop.
Ilja Dragunov def. Noam Dar and was confronted by NXT United Kingdom Champion WALTER
Ilja Dragunov likely made Noam Dar regret interrupting him at the beginning of the show, after which Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala announced that this match would take place. The Mad Russian overcame attempted interference by Alexander Wolfe to blast Dar with Torpedo Moscow for the win.
Wolfe wasn't the only Imperium member to visit Dragunov, though. After Dragunov's victory, NXT United Kingdom Champion WALTER marched through the entrance for an intense staredown with the No. 1 contender to his title, setting the stage for what is sure to be an unforgettable clash.
