Oba Femi won the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge
Eddy Thorpe was unable to compete due to not being medically cleared, and it opened the door for The Ruler of NXT to walk out of Minneapolis as the Iron Survivor.
Wes Lee and Je'Von Evans kicked off the bout, and it resulted in The Cardiac Kid putting his foot on the ropes to steal a fall just before Nathan Frazer entered the fray.
Ethan Page joined the match but immediately got rolled up and pinned by Frazer, resulting in a furious Page being thrown into the penalty box by Evans.
Once he left the box, All Ego scored a point of his own when he exacted payback by pinning Frazer.
As the clock hit 15 minutes, Oba Femi hit the scene, much to the dismay of the other competitors, and immediately cleaned house and pinned Evans, tying Lee, Frazer and Page at one decision apiece.
Evans exited the penalty box in spectacular fashion by hitting a Swanton Bomb and pinning Lee, meaning all five Superstars owned a fall.
Page rolled up Femi and scored a fall, but Evans returned the favor on Page, allowing Femi to destroy All Ego in the penalty box.
As the time dwindled to under 30 seconds, Femi destroyed both Lee and Frazer with a double chokeslam, pinning them both to take the lead with his second and third decisions.
Seconds later, Evans soared from the top rope and dropped Femi with a devastating cutter, but time ran out before he could cover the gargantuan Superstar, making Femi the winner and the new No. 1 Contender.
Lola Vice def. Jaida Parker - NXT Underground Match
Bitter enemies Lola Vice and Jaida Parker brought their rivalry to the underground, but only Vice was left conscious.
The match started off fast and furious with the two Superstars trading clubbing blows, but Parker nearly earned a knockout via a spinning back elbow.
After a flurry of kicks and an attempted ankle lock from her opponent, Parker regained control and began to rain down elbows onto her opponent before ripping off Vice's glove and attacking her exposed hand.
Parker started to dominate the match, at one point using Vice's own black belt as a tie to smash her into the ring post.
An angry Vice rallied from an armbar attempt to lock in a guillotine, leading to a stalemate.
Parker went for broke and brought out a brick to try to knock out Vice, but the former MMA fighter expertly countered the attack into an anaconda submission. With Parker going to sleep, the official called for the bell, allowing Vice to win the match and reign supreme in the underground.
NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom def. Myles Borne & Tavion Heights
Despite Nathan Frazer's obvious injuries from the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge, Fraxiom withstood No Quarter Catch Crew to remain the NXT Tag Team Champions.
Frazer's midsection and nose were heavily wrapped, and Myles Borne took advantage, using a number of holds to keep the high-flyer pinned to the mat and unable to tag in Axiom.
Tavion Heights continued the domination, hitting a devastating gutwrench slam, but Frazer dug deep and found a way to tag in his partner.
Axiom battled hard on his own, taking on Borne and Heights while Frazer mustered enough energy to return and even the odds.
Frazer's incredible Phoenix Splash was followed by Heights breaking up the pin, only for Axiom to hit him with a Golden Ratio.
The subsequent missile dropkick from Axiom went awry, as he hit Frazer, which nearly resulted in the challengers winning the tag title.
Now faced with a two-on-one disadvantage, Axiom took out Heights, flipped his hips and rolled up Borne to secure a successful title defense and prove that Fraxiom are indeed fine.
NXT Champion Trick Williams def. Ridge Holland
The NXT Championship remains with Trick Williams after he Whooped That Trick and defeated Ridge Holland.
A furious champion brought the fight right to his opponent, but it wasn't long before his already injured neck played a major role.
The challenger clobbered the champion and targeted Williams' neck, leading to a struggle on the outside where Holland attempted to hit a Redeemer on the table, but Williams flipped him onto the floor below.
Williams tossed Holland in the ring, but the challenger trapped the champion in the ring ropes.
Holland followed that with a Redeemer DDT, but the champion found a way to kick out. Gaining some momentum from a rowdy Minneapolis crowd, Williams hit a Trick Shot out of nowhere to retain his title and continue his reign as champion.
Giulia won the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge
The Beautiful Madness is the No. 1 Contender after winning the Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline.
It took nearly 10 minutes to find the first fall when Giulia hit a picture-perfect Northern Lights Bomb on Wren Sinclair as Sol Ruca couldn't break up the pin in time.
Ruca nailed Giulia and Zaria with a Double Sol Snatcher, but both Superstars rolled out of the ring before they could be covered. Sinclair exited the penalty box shortly after and was also hit with a Sol Snatcher, giving Ruca her first fall.
Stephanie Vaquer entered the match as the final competitor, but Zaria cleaned house and took out every Superstar in impressive fashion before pinning Giulia after an F-5.
The Dark Angel finally got on the board with three minutes left after rolling up Sinclair, sending the distraught No Quarter Catch Crew Superstar to the penalty box.
Sinclair exited the box and finally scored a three-count via a rollup on Ruca that resulted in all Superstars being tied at one fall apiece, but a flurry at the end saw Giulia hit a huge running knee strike on Zaria to win the match and become the Iron Survivor and No. 1 Contender.
