Level Up

Eddy Thorpe def. Dante Chen

In one of the bigger upsets in NXT Level Up history, Eddy Thorpe kicked off his WWE career by upending feared striker Dante Chen, who had won six of his last nine matches on WWE’s newest brand.

“The Gatekeeper of NXT” didn’t seem to take his debuting opponent lightly, out-grappling him in the early goings and staggering him with a nasty pump kick.

A veteran who has competed all over the world, Thorpe turned the tide by chucking his foe with a unique suplex and connecting with an Impaler DDT for the three-count.

Xyon Quinn def. Oba Femi

Predictably, thunderous power moves and wicked haymakers were in high supply when Xyon Quinn and Oba Femi unloaded on one another in a slugfest.

Seeking his first win, Femi pulled out all the stops, chasing Quinn around the ringside area before flipping him into the air and sending him face-first into the canvas.

Quinn, however, struck back by yanking Femi into the middle turnbuckle and immediately clocking him with the decisive X Marks the Spot.

Ivy Nile def. Valentina Feroz via Submission

While many Superstars have excelled on NXT Level Up, Ivy Nile is in a class of her own.

Accompanied by Tatum Paxley, The Pitbull of Diamond Mine received a tough challenge from Valentina Feroz, who used her quickness to take down Nile with a headscissors into a pinning combination for a two-count.

Elektra Lopez, who has taken an interest in Feroz in recent weeks, suddenly appeared at ringside after Feroz landed a Meteora for a two-count. With Feroz distracted, Nile soon caught her in her devastating modified dragon sleeper to force the tapout and improve to 15-0 on NXT Level Up.
