Level Up

Jacy Jayne def. Karmen Petrovic

Despite coming off a tough loss to Lyra Valkyria on NXT 2.0, the coldhearted Jacy Jayne sent an impactful reminder that she is not to be taken lightly when she clashed with rookie Karmen Petrovic.

Competing in just her second career match, the karate master showed no intimidation against the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, taking her by surprise with a quick takedown and getting a long two-count with a crafty rollup.

Jayne eventually gained control with a nasty headbutt and soon scored the 1-2-3 by shaking off some clotheslines and tattooing her opponent with a spinning forearm strike and immediately mocking Petrovic with a post-match dance.

Dani Palmer def. Brooklyn Barlow

Having recently returned from a knee injury and competing in her first singles match since July of 2022, Brooklyn Barlow jumped right into the deep end for a bout with the innovative Dani Palmer.

Barlow showed no signs of ring rust, outmaneuvering Palmer and grounding her with a headlock takedown before briefly catching her in a surfboard submission hold.

“Daredevil Dani,” however, caught fire with rapid-fire dropkicks and earned the victory with a jaw-dropping corkscrew from the top rope.

Oro Mensah def. Ikemen Jiro

Though the raucous WWE Universe was firmly on his side, Ikemen Jiro was still at a decided disadvantage for his match against Meta-Four’s Oro Mensah, who was backed by Noam Dar, Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend.

Mensah, who has flashed a newfound mean streak since joining his new comrades, started the fight by sucker-punching Jiro and immediately talking trash, though Jiro quickly struck back with a series of dropkicks.

Jiro seemed to be closing in on victory when he unloaded with several Jacket Punches and a kick to the face, but Jackson distracted the referee to allow Legend to yank Jiro by his hair into the turnbuckle. Mensah swiftly took advantage with a decisive spin kick.
