Edris Enofé & Malik Blade def. Damaris Griffin & Quincy Elliott
Hungry to prove that they should have been in the Tag Team Gauntlet Match for the then-vacant NXT Tag Team Titles, Edris Enofé and Malik Blade stormed out of the starting blocks against Quincy Elliott and the debuting Damaris Griffin, as both used their lightning quickness to stagger Elliott with a couple of dropkicks.
Though it was their first time teaming together, Griffin and Elliott showed impressive chemistry, particularly when Elliott hurled Enofé toward Griffin, who tattooed his foe with a vicious clothesline.
A battle-torn Enofé finally made a diving tag to Blade, who hit the ring like he was fired out of a cannon, blitzing both of his opponents and landing a crossbody on Elliott. Moments later, Enofé clobbered Griffin with a knee to the face, and Blade soared from the top rope with a picture-perfect frog splash to tee up his partner to score the pinfall.
Fallon Henley def. Thea Hail
Having recently aligned with Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen and picked up her first career victory over Tiffany Stratton, Fallon Henley stepped onto NXT Level Up hungry for her second win in her last three matches in a battle with Thea Hail.
Hail showed some impressive athleticism in the early goings, outmaneuvering her foe with a pair of armdrags and sending her flying across the canvas with a headscissors takedown.
Prior to the match, Henley indicated that she doesn’t have anything against Hail but isn’t in WWE to make friends, and she backed up her words when she clobbered her opponent with a running knee to the face for the victory.
Bodhi Hayward def. Dante Chen
Proudly representing his native Singapore and having returned to action after vigorously rehabbing from an injury, Dante Chen was looked to match the intensity of Chase University’s ultra-enthusiastic star pupil, Bodhi Hayward.
After a series of impressive pinfall combination reversals, Chen landed the first big blow with a nasty neckbreaker.
Hayward nevertheless turned the tables with a ring-shaking powerslam, and he scored his third straight win (two singles matches and one tag team match with Andre Chase) by dodging a kick and planting Chen into the canvas with a unique spinebuster.
