Tank Ledger & Ikemen Jiro def. Duke Hudson & Bryson Montana
Newcomer Tank Ledger made his in-ring debut, teaming up with Ikemen Jiro to battle Duke Hudson and Bryson Montana.
Hudson, who went into the contest undefeated on NXT Level Up, exploited his size advantage against Jiro, tossing him around the ring with ease. Hudson had more of a challenge when Jiro tagged in his partner Ledger.
Ledger brought his defensive lineman past into the contest, pummeling away at Montana throughout. Ledger gelled with Jiro immensely, the frequent tags allowing Jiro to provide an onslaught of Jacket Punches on Hudson and Montana.
It was this slew of action that set up Jiro to hit the Ikemen Slash on Montana, sealing the win.
Myles Borne def. Dante Chen
Dante Chen and Myles Borne went toe-to-toe again after a recent encounter left Chen with the victory. Both Superstars brought their inspirational stories to their fight, lighting up the NXT Universe.
Chen had the upper hand in the early stages of the battle, going after Borne’s left arm to devastating effect.
Borne had to fight from the bottom throughout most of the match but used his fighting spirit to hit Chen with an unreal DDT, putting away The Singaporean Lion and stacking up another victory in the process.
Ivy Nile def. Lash Legend
With NXT Halloween Havoc around the corner, The Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile took on Lash Legend with momentum implications. Nile had the disadvantage going in as her Diamond Mine family imploded with Julius Creed set to take on Damon Kemp in an Ambulance Match at the Premium Live Event.
Legend used her power game to open the contest, muscling Nile up into a tremendous suplex. Legend continued to deal out the punishment, but Nile kept fighting back, showcasing her resolve.
Legend looked to wrap up the win with a reverse suplex but Nile countered into a vicious Dragon Sleeper, forcing Legend to tap out for the big-time win.
