Stardust & Goldust def. RybAxel

BOSTON – The competition in WWE’s tag team division is reaching cosmic proportions, thanks to the mysterious new team of Stardust & Goldust. The arrival of the starry-eyed Superstar has introduced a new extraordinary energy into The Bizarre One, making this duo a potentially stellar force within the WWE Universe.

At Money in the Bank, the stars were aligned for this golden twosome as they overcame the powerhouse team of Ryback & Curtis Axel in an impressive pay-per-view debut.

The team of RybAxel proved to be a formidable challenge for the new tandem as they tried to gain retribution for their recent Raw loss to the golden Superstars. The former Intercontinental Champion and his hulking partner used their experience to help keep their foes at bay for much of the contest, while attempting to prove that they deserve a spot atop WWE’s tag team ranks.

Just as Ryback began to feed off his team’s momentum and deliver a game-changing clothesline, the wily Goldust ducked out of the way and tagged in his peculiar partner. Stardust, moving faster than a shooting star, quickly revitalized the energy for himself and The Bizarre One, and allowed them to regain the advantage in the contest.

Axel attempted to alter the momentum back in their favor, but instead struck his own tag team partner, allowing Stardust to pick up a slick victory via a rollup. A furious Axel tried to make an example out of Stardust, but this just wasn’t the former Intercontinental Champion’s night, as Goldust & Stardust quickly turned away their furious foe.
