Vanessa Borne earned an opportunity to compete in the inaugural Mae Young Classic this summer on the award-winning WWE Network after an impressive victory over Jayme Hachey.
The former Phoenix Suns dancer and Arizona Cardinals cheerleader put on an athletic display in the Mae Young Classic Qualifying Match on NXT, claiming victory after drilling Hachey to the mat with an imposing spinning slam.
Borne is a relative newcomer to the squared circle, but based on her win in the Mae Young Classic Qualifying Match, it’s safe to say that training under WWE Attitude Era legend Gangrel and WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has clearly paid dividends.
Borne now joins WWE’s groundbreaking 32-woman tournament, which will premiere Monday, Aug. 28, exclusively on WWE Network.
