The Miz & John Morrison def. Cryme Tyme
PHOENIX -- With 38 percent of the vote, the WWE Universe sent a clear message that they wanted to see Cryme Tyme and The Miz & John Morrison put their rivalry on display at Cyber Sunday. The Shaman of Sexy & the self-proclaimed "chick magnet" claimed victory over the hosts of "Word Up," proving that there was some truth to the boasts and brags seen on Miz & Morrison's WWE.com show, "The Dirt Sheet."
Though our fans also had a chance to see Jamie Noble & Mickie James compete against William Regal & Layla, or force World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase to defend their titles against CM Punk & Kofi Kingston, you, the WWE Universe, decided that the stars of two of WWE.com's most popular programs should face each other. For weeks, Cryme Tyme and The Miz & Morrison have been swiping at one another across brands, facing off in tag as well as singles competitions on both Raw and ECW. The outspoken Superstars even got into an altercation at the announcer's table during a Divas match.
At Cyber Sunday, their rivalry manifested itself in a much more physical manner, but it originated here on WWE.com, where Raw's Robbin' Hoods and Miz & Morrison host weekly episodes of their WWE.com Originals series. Nothing was sacred as the two skilled tag teams took aim at one another, insulting everything from their opponent's wrestling ability to their outfits and family history. Both teams went so far as to imitate their rivals in satirical takes on their web shows.
In the end, however, the former WWE Tag Team Champions were victorious, as John Morrison hit Shad with the Moonlight Drive to secure the win in a match demanded by the WWE Universe.
