On Dec. 24, 2018, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon announced that the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships would be introduced in 2019. After the titles were unveiled by Alexa Bliss on "A Moment of Bliss," the first champions were crowned on Feb. 17, 2019, when Bayley & Sasha Banks won a Tag Team Elimination Chamber Match.
At WrestleMania, The IIconics defeated The Boss 'n' Hug Connection, Tamina & Nia Jax and Beth Phoenix & Natalya in a Fatal 4-Way Match to become the second – and current – champions.
Available now at WWEShop.com, you and a your tag team partner can become champions with the new WWE Women's Tag Team Championship replica belts. Weighing over 5 pounds each, the titles are made from a zinc alloy with a 8.25-inch main plate and 4-by-5-inch side plates.
