Mayor of Boston congratulates Sasha Banks & Bayley for historic win

There’s nothing like hometown love. Just ask Sasha Banks, whose groundbreaking win at Elimination Chamber, alongside tag team partner Bayley, sparked a major congratulation from Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.

The exciting praise comes after The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection made history this past Sunday by being crowned the first WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. The trailblazing duo outlasted five other tag teams to win the coveted prize inside the Elimination Chamber. In response to Mayor Walsh's congratulatory note, Bayley offered the perfect response, tweeting, “Load up the confetti!”
