Kofi Kingston shares heartwarming clip of hometown reaction to WrestleMania win

Home is the where the heart is. For Kofi Kingston, that place happens to be his native Ghana.
Just one week after celebrating an epic victory at WrestleMania, where he complemented his 11-year journey with a WWE Championship, the walking tour de force shared a little piece of home with the WWE Universe on Instagram. Sent by his mother, Kofi posted a video clip of his family in Ghana watching his WrestleMania bout, which concluded with a jubilant celebration. In seeing their reaction, the WWE Champion expressed being overcome “with pride and joy.”
“This video is a reminder of why we do what we do,” he explained, before noting that it’s been 25 years since he’s been to Ghana. “I think it might be time to go back and visit.” As they say, there’s no place like home.
