John Cena to star in “Fast & Furious 9”
The Champ is here, and he’s ready to burn some serious rubber.
As teased by franchise star Vin Diesel back in April, John Cena has officially joined the cast of “Fast & Furious 9,” reports Deadline.com.
Although not much is known about his character at this time, we can only assume that multiple attitudes will be adjusted, vehicles will be destroyed, and lives will be lived one quarter-mile at a time.
For nearly 20 years, the Fast Franchise has entertained fans and created some of the biggest cinematic moments in history. It’s an incredible honor to join this franchise and this family. https://t.co/7GFzDsX8sl

“For nearly 20 years, the Fast Franchise has entertained fans and created some of the biggest cinematic moments in history,” Cena tweeted. “It’s an incredible honor to join this franchise and this family.”
You can see Cena when “Fast & Furious 9” hits theaters on May 22, 2020. Cena’s longtime rival The Rock, meanwhile, stars in “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” which arrives Aug. 2.
