HOW TO ENTER. The Boston SummerSlam® 2020 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins upon the posting of the applicable post on the @WWE Twitter account on August 8, 2019 and ends at 11:59 PM (ET) on August 16, 2019 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes is sponsored by World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. ("Sponsor").  Sponsor’s clock is the official time keeping device of the Sweepstakes.  NO PURCHASE OR OTHER PAYMENT OF MONEY IS NECESSARY TO ENTER. Each post constitutes entry into the Sweepstakes.  Limit one entry per day. 

You may enter via Twitter by doing each of the following steps:

• Log-in to or join Twitter at www.twitter.com (tweets must be set to “public” and joining Twitter is free);
• Follow the @WWE account on Twitter (@WWE account must be followed both at time of entry and at time of prize notification); and
• Tweet a message using both of the hashtags #SummerSlam2020 and #Sweepstakes.  Tweets about why you are excited that SummerSlam 2020 will be in Boston are encouraged, but are not required for entry.  

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES.  While you are not required to provide any content (including, text, photos or videos) other than the designated hashtags in connection with Twitter entries, you are encouraged to post about why you are excited that SummerSlam 2020 will be in Boston.  Posting content will not increase your chances of winning. Any content you submit as part of your Sweepstakes entry via Twitter must comply with the submission guidelines immediately below (the “Submission Guidelines”). Any entry that, in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, violates these Official Rules or the Submission Guidelines below will be disqualified and/or will not be eligible to win a prize.

(a) Content must be the original work of the entrant. Entries may incorporate only the facial likeness or name of the entrant and must not incorporate the facial likeness or name of any other person.

(b) Content must not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, privacy or publicity rights of any person, or other rights of any person or entity.  Content cannot contain or promote the products or services of any company or entity or contain trademarks or logos, or promote any brand or product, other than WWE trademarks, logos, brands and products. 

(c) Content cannot contain material that is offensive, inappropriate, hazardous, indecent or obscene, profane, or defamatory, libelous, slanderous or disparaging.  Content cannot be sexually explicit or suggestive, contain full or partial nudity, pornographic material or content that is disparaging to any ethnic, racial, general, religious, professional or age group.

(d) Sponsor may, in its sole and absolute discretion, disqualify any content that it believes violates any of the foregoing requirements or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules.

(e) As a condition of entry, each entrant agrees to indemnify and hold the Releasees (as defined below) harmless from and against any and all claims or liability to a third party that arise out of the content of any text, photo or video submitted in this Sweepstakes, or the entrant’s failure to comply with these Submission Guidelines or the Official Rules. 

Eligibility:  This Sweepstakes is open only to natural persons who are legal residents of the United States of America and who are physically residing within one hundred fifty (150) miles of TD Garden, 100 Legends Way, Boston, MA 02114 (“Event Site”) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and who have a valid email address. Employees, officers, directors and agents of Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (meaning spouses, parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses) and members of the households of such employees, officers, directors and agents are not eligible. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email account will be deemed to be the entrant. Sponsor may request any potential winner to provide proof that such person is the winner. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from this Sweepstakes any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

Winner Selection and Notification.  Potential prize winners will be selected at random from among all eligible entries collected during the entry period.  Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Potential winners will be notified through Twitter direct message (please note that you are required to follow the @WWE account to receive such message).  Potential winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release, and any current release or other documentation that the Sponsor may require and see to it that the Sponsor is in receipt of these documents within forty-eight (48) hours of having received the same. In all cases, the Sponsor reserves the right to request proof of residency and age and a potential winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize if the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, finds that the proof is unsatisfactory. If a potential winner does not timely return the requisite documents or cannot be reached within two (2) days from initial notification attempt, if prize is returned as non-deliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any of the requirements of these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries and confirmed in accordance with these Official Rules. 

Sweepstakes Prize:  There are a total of ten (10) prizes.   Each prize consists of four (4) tickets to SummerSlam held at the Event Site in August 2020 (the “Event”).  The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Prize is $400. Prizes are non-transferable, with no cash redemptions, equivalents or substitutions except at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. All prize details not specified in these Official Rules (including, without limitation, date/time of SummerSlam 2020 and the location of seats at the Event) will be determined in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, and are subject to change. In the event that Sponsor is unable to provide the Winner with the Prize or any portion thereof, the Sponsor may elect to pay the Winners the ARV of the Prize, or award an alternate prize of comparable or greater value. The Prize is awarded “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Winners will be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the Prize. The Winners may be required to provide Sponsor with a valid social security number or tax identification number before the prize will be awarded for tax purposes. An IRS Form 1099 may be issued in the name of the Winner for the actual value of the prize received. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.

Winners are solely responsible for any and all expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the prize description herein, including, but not limited to, transportation, hotel, meals and beverages, gratuities, concessions at Event, personal incidentals , applicable taxes and insurance. Sponsor is not responsible in the event that the Event is cancelled or postponed for any reason. 

Winners may attend the Event with a guest who is under the age of majority if: (a) the parent or legal guardian of the guest has executed an Authorization Form, giving consent, a Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release, on such guest’s behalf; and (b) Sponsor, in its sole discretion, has granted its approval. In all cases, the Winner’s guest, or the parent/legal guardian of any guest who is a minor in his or her state of residence, will be required to sign a Liability and Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law).

Winners and guests agree to comply with all applicable venue regulations in connection with the Event.  

Prizes may not be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute similar prize of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion.

General Terms: By submitting an Entry and entering the Sweepstakes you agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.  All applicable taxes, fees, and other liabilities related to the winning of the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.  By entering, you release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with your participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, misuse or nonuse of the Prize or any part thereof, including, without limitation, liability for death, personal injury, damage or loss of any kind.  Sponsor makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, with respect to the quality or merchantability of any Prize.  If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes for any reason.

Privacy Policy: All personal information submitted in relation to the Sweepstakes will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy of Sponsor which may be found at https://www.wwe.com/page/privacy-policy.

List of Winners:  For the names of the Winners, available after September 30, 2019, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: WWE Boston Summer Slam 2020 Sweepstakes, WWE Sweepstakes Fulfillment, 1241 East Main Street, Stamford, CT 06902. Requests must be received by December 31, 2019.

Disputes: Participants agree that this Sweepstakes is governed solely by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any claims arising out of the Sweepstakes shall be governed solely by Connecticut law and may be brought only in a federal or state court in Connecticut. If any provisions of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.  EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED, ENTRANT AGREES THAT: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, INCLUDING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, BUT IN NO EVENT ATTORNEYS’ FEES; AND (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN AWARDS FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AND ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN FOR ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES, AND ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED.
