Charlotte Flair wins the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble
The Queen is headed to WrestleMania 41.
Charlotte Flair won the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble in her grand return to WWE, last eliminating Roxanne Perez to seal the victory.
The match began with two former Women’s World Champions, as IYO SKY entered at the unenviable No. 1 spot, with Liv Morgan entering at the equally unlucky No. 2, setting up an early showdown between two of WWE’s best.
The ring quickly filled up as NXT’s Roxanne Perez (No. 3), Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria (No. 4) and Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green (No. 5) all entered the fray, only for the four Superstars to team up on the loudmouthed Green.
The first former Women’s Royal Rumble winner to enter the match was WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair at No. 10, and The EST stacked her opponents and beat them down in the corner.
2024 Royal Rumble winner Bayley entered at No. 12, and the other half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Naomi entered at No. 15, which led to all three members of Pure Fusion Collective being eliminated at one time.
The paradigm shifted when Jordynne Grace entered at No. 19 in her first match as a WWE Superstar. Grace promptly eliminated NXT’s Jaida Parker (No. 16) and hit a stunning Death Valley Driver on Piper Niven (No. 17).
The stunners came later in the match, as former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champions Alexa Bliss (No. 21) and Charlotte Flair (No. 27), current NXT Women’s Champion Giulia (No. 28) and WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus (No. 25) and Nikki Bella (No. 30) all entered the match.
Jax eliminated several Superstars at the same time, setting a new record for most career eliminations by a female Superstar with 29 as well as most eliminations in a single Women's Royal Rumble Match with nine. After Jax's dominant run, the field whittled to just Flair, Jax, Perez and Bella.
After The Irresistible Force tossed out Bella, The Queen and The Prodigy teamed up on Jax and eliminated her. Seconds later, Flair nailed one final Big Boot to send Perez flying off the apron to the floor to become the first two-time winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble.
WWE Tag Team Champions #DIY def. The Motor City Machine Guns - 2-out-of-3 Falls Match
Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano walked out of Indianapolis with their title as they defeated Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.
#DIY used some veteran savvy to fake a tag and trick Shelley, leading to Ciampa still being the legal man. Ciampa took advantage by cracking his opponent with a running knee strike to give his team the all-important first fall.
The champions continued to press the challengers and made sure Shelley couldn’t tag out, but one well-timed kick allowed Sabin to finally get in the match and change the momentum for his team.
With the script flipped, MCMG neutralized Gargano and hit Skull and Bones to even the matchup at one fall apiece.
Ciampa and Sabin battled inside the ring, and the champion nailed the Fairytale Ending and Project Ciampa, only for the challenger to somehow kick out.
The two teams battled to a near stalemate when, out of nowhere, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins attacked Sabin and Shelley, allowing Ciampa and Gargano to hit Meeting in the Middle to win the bout.
After the match, The Street Profits also brutalized the champions and held the gold high over their heads.
